Education changes everything. In developing countries, education improves food security, reduces malnutrition and the spread of communicable diseases, promotes gender equality, and improves lifetime wages with every year of school attended.
We believe every child has value, every child is gifted, and every child deserves the opportunity to go to school. Children of all tribes and religions are welcomed in our schools. We use an interactive teaching style in an encouraging, Christ-centered environment. HEED also offers education for community members through our vocational institute, adult literacacy classes, and our demonstration farm. Educational opportunity is transforming the community and the futures of the children who live there.
Today, about 700 students empower their futures by attending our primary school and high school. We are so proud of our students, who are scoring higher than the national average on the national exams!
